The Smiths Show Up & Show Out For The ‘After Earth’ New York City Premiere

It was a family affair last night as celebs attended the New York City premiere of the sci-fi action flick, “After Earth,” starring Will and Jaden Smith.  The Smith Family was color-coordinated in red, white and black as they walked the red carpet together, including Will’s oldest son Trey. Will’s ex-wife Sheree Fletcher also came out to support.

Also spotted on the scene were Wyclef, AJ Calloway, Victor Cruz and Fresh Prince actor Alfonso Ribeiro, who attended the premiere with their wives and fiancées, and actress Vivica A. Fox, Tika Sumpter and Lil Mama were all spotted working the carpet solo.

How amazing did this family look?  Jaden in all white, Will in a red suit and his son Trey wearing all black, while Willow went for a black and white menswear inspired look.  Jada was the icing on the cake with her floral dress and Alaïa caged heels. A+++ across the board.

Willow looked absolutely adorable. The exaggerated cuffs and collar were a nice touch as well as the white belt.  Too cute!

Jaden’s various facial expressions are now his trademark.

Wyclef arrived with his wife Claudinette and daughter Angelina.

Alfonso Ribeiro and his pregnant wife Robin were in attendance.

Former 106 and Park host AJ Calloway and his fiancée Dionne Walker are also expecting.

Victor Cruz and his fiancée Elaina Watley looked as though they were enjoying a cute date night.

Actress Tika Sumpter looked stunning in a coral jumpsuit and high bun.

Lil Mama went casual in a blazer and wedge Puma sneakers.

Actress Vivica A. Fox, who co-starred with Will in “Independence Day,” looked girlie in pink as she attended the premiere.

Kylie Jenner has been hanging out with Willow and Jaden in New York all week and she also made an appearance at the premiere. The big question has been whether or not her outfit was too sexy for a 15-year-old.  The kids are growing up so fast.

50cent was also present at the premier, looking cool in the blazer suit and a sneakers to match.

Beyonce Spotted Breaking Another Pregnancy Rule

By now it’s probably safe to say that Beyonce’s uterus is not carrying a baby.  Lately she’s been spotted doing everything a pregnant woman is told to avoid, such as eating tuna and drinking alcohol. Not to mention, she’s still wearing those cat suits during her concert versus trying to hide her alleged baby bump.

This past Memorial Day weekend, The Carters were given superstar treatment as they visited the Galleries Lafayette Shopping Mall during Beyonce’s tour stop in Berlin.  To avoid mayhem, they were allowed into the mall after hours for some retail therapy, and Bey was snapped throwing back some champagne while entering the baby section of a department store.

Earlier this month, E! News published a report claiming that Beyonce was expecting her second child, however, a few days later Jay shot those rumors down in an email to a radio station in the states Hot 97′s program director, Ebro.  He wrote:

    It’s not true. The news is worse than blogs.

Fan who have tickets to the “Mrs. Carter World Show tour” later this year can definitely breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Will Smith Shoots Down Kardashian Family Comparison

Don’t try to compare the super-talented Smith family to that of the Kardashians.  That may not go over too well with Will.  Although The Smiths are great friends with the Kardashians, there are obvious differences.

Will Smith and his son Jaden are covering the latest issue of New York Magazine in the latest stream of promos for the movie After Earth and in the feature, the interviewer brought up the Kardashians.  The interviewer mentioned that the Kardashians have  treated their fame as a family business, and questioned whether the Smiths saw themselves as similar or different which resulted in Jaden saying he didn’t understand the question.  The interviewer then rephrased the question, “So how do you think your life is similar or un-similar to people’s names in Calabasas?” which resulted in Will signaling for his son not to speak, while responding:

    You know, he’s never had to, to deal with those kinds of questions. [Mimicking the interviewer] “So how do you think your life is similar or un-similar to people’s names in Calabasas?” For our family, the entire structure of our life, our home, our business relationships—the entire purpose is for everyone to be able to create in a way that makes them happy. Fame is almost an inconsequential by-product of what we’re really trying to accomplish. We are trying to put great things into the world, we’re trying to have fun, and we’re trying to become the greatest versions of ourselves in the process of doing things we love. So the idea of fame or exploitation or orchestrating the media is sometimes even less than desirable for us.

The interviewer also followed up her question by asking if Jaden could have been a dentist instead of an actor, and Will responded:

    It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane. I would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that’s going be everywhere in the world. He is making a choice from the informed. It’s less scary to me than if he wanted to be a dentist in that I couldn’t help with what he’d chosen. I have relationships with some of the biggest filmmakers and actors and producers on Earth. So I can be a huge help.

    Willow chose singing and then un-chose it. She said, “Daddy, I want to go to school with my friends during the week, and I want to hang out with them on the weekends.” At the peak of “Whip My Hair,” she’s like, “Daddy, I’m done.” At the end of the day, it has to be their choice.

Jaden added:

    He’s, like, really just cool. He lets us have our freedom as long as we can control our freedom.

Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa, Ludacris, Tyrese, 2 Chainz & More Attend The ‘Fast & Furious 6′ Premiere

Who knew Fast & Furious would have this many sequels?

Last night, some of our favorite celebs gathered at Universal Citywalk in Universal City for the premiere of the sixth installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise.  Co-stars Vin Diesel and Ludacris hit the red carpet, as well as Tyrese who walked the red carpet with former RichGirl member  Lyndriette Kristal Smith and his TGT group members Tank and Ginuwine.

Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa were on hand, as well as Entertainment Tonight correspondent Rocsi Diaz and 2 Chainz.

 Ludacris was killing the bow tie look as he arrived with his girlfriend Eudoxie.

    Luda and Eudoxie also hit the after party.

Gloria Govan was spotted in a chest-baring dress as she walked the red carpet with hubby Matt Barnes.

Tyrese’s date for the night was former RichGirl member Lyndriette Kristal Smith. She was his date for the London premiere as well.  He posted on Instagram, “Great plans in the works.......

       His TGT groupmates Tank and Ginuwine also joined Tyrese on the carpet.

Jay-Z On The Beyonce Pregnancy Rumors: ‘The News Is Worse Than Blogs

If you can’t trust credible entertainment news outlets to give you the truth, then who can you trust?

On Friday, E! News had the internet on fire when they published a report that allegedly confirmed Beyonce was pregnant with her second child, however Jay-Z is insisting that the report contains false information. According to Hot 97′s Program Director Ebro, when he hit Jay to congratulate him on the new baby, Jay’s response was that “the news” is becoming worse than blogs.

    Well, I emailed Jay-Z [to congratulate him] and then he hit me back and said ‘It’s not true.’ Like literally, it had to be Saturday afternoon, so it had been a whole 24 hours of it’s true.

    ‘It’s not true, the news is worse than blogs,’ so no baby yet.

    That’s what the email account said unless he’s been cat fishing me the whole time [laughs] for the last five years.

On the day that E! News broke the story, an alleged Instagram post from Beyonce made it’s rounds across news sites, but is nowhere to be found on her actual account.  It read:

    I can’t stop the rumors from starting, and I can’t really change people’s minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me.

Did she quickly delete it or was that too made up by the press? [See The New York Daily News]  This is definitely getting out of hand.

At least ticket holders can breathe a sigh of a relief for now.  A new baby would be such a blessing but the timing would put a damper on her tour dates, plans to release an album and Pepsi deal.

Solange is giving the fellas plenty of look-but-don’t-touch side boob action in her latest spread for Complex Magazine.  In the photo spread, which comes on the heels of the announcement that she will be starting her own label, features Solo posing in a variety of colorful booty shorts and one pieces.  The color-blocking is on point and she definitely shows off a lot of skin while still keeping it classy.
During her sit-down chat, she revealed why she loves the freedom of being an independent artist versus being backed and somewhat owned by a record label:

Someone asked me, ‘What quarter are you trying to come out?’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, I haven’t heard that in so long! It’s just about putting the music out when it’s ready. When I wake up in the morning, I get dressed for myself, I listen to what I wanna listen to, I make decisions for me. It’s been interesting to navigate that from such a young age so publicly. But life is short and you have to live for you. I would never wanna look back on my life and feel like I missed out on any of that.

Beyonce Says Doctors Told Her Not To Perform, Fans Plead For Her To Get Some Rest

Is it time for Beyonce to hang up her Superwoman cape for a few days and get some much-needed rest?

In the last four months alone, we’ve seen her perform at very high profile events like the Super Bowl and The Inauguration, release a Pepsi commercial and embark on a World Tour (in which she flew back to the States just to attend the MET Gala). In the midst of her tour, she also has performances at the BET Awards, Essence Music Fest and Made In America Fest that are already on the agenda for this year. Her schedule would make anyone’s head spin, especially a mom with a one-year-old, so it’s no wonder she had to cancel a show this week (amid all of those pesky preggo rumors—that’s another discussion.)

Beyonce hit the stage in Antwerp, Belgium last night, a day after pulling the plug on the first show there, and according to a few of our readers, she wasn’t at 100%.

Below is our correspondent in Belgium that was at the concert

We just came home from the Beyoncé concert in Antwerp, Belgium. Tonight was the second concert out of two after the first one was canceled yesterday. At first we were super excited that she was able to perform tonight and the crowd was hype in anticipation, but after the first few songs it was clear that she should have postponed this show as well. Beyonce wasn’t her usual self and started out very weakly. A couple of songs into the concert, Beyoncé herself started performing a little bit better and seemed to have more energy, but all in all the entire concert was a great disappointment.

    We’re just two hard working women who paid a lot of money for tickets. On top of that we had to take time of from work to travel from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to Antwerp, so this whole trip cost us a lot, especially in these hard economic times. We appreciate that she works really hard and always strives for perfection but tonight was a very big let down for us and I think for her as well.

During one of her breaks, Beyonce appeared on stage looking angelic in all white, and expressed that she was performing against her doctor’s orders because she didn’t want to let her fans down:

    I just have to say, I feel so good to be on this stage. I have the best fans in the world. Now, my doctors told me not to perform tonight, but there was no way in the world. I just have to say that you all have given me so much inspiration and I just want to thank you guys.

Earlier that day, she also posted a handwritten note that read:

    To my dearest fans in Antwerp

    I’ve never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I’m sorry if I disappointed you. Thank you for your concern. I’m feeling much better now and I’m ready to give you a great show.
