The power of technology…Michael Jackson may not be physically here with us anymore, but his hologram was in full promo mode at last night’s 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
To promote his new posthumous album, Xscape, The King of Pop digitally appeared on a gold throne projected on a huge screen to perform his “new” song, “Slave To The Rhythm.” And just like the real MJ, the hologram didn’t miss a step when it came to Michael’s signature dance moves as the digital Mike moonwalked across the stage/screen. Eery!
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a 10/10 performance as the audio and video failed to sync at some points, but it’s still the closest thing we have to seeing Michael perform again.
