On June, 25 this Grand Rapids, Michigan, couple celebrated their 80th Wedding Anniversary. The way 99-year old’s Vivian and Donald Hart sit close together and look through their photo albums is the way marriage should be. They have put God first in their life, and in return, they have had a good life. They’re best friends, loving, honest, loyal, attentive, and have fun with each other. No matter what life over the years has thrown at them they have persevered.
This couple has weathered many storms, but their unwavering faith, love, and commitment to family has been the backbone of their long and successful marriage. Prayer strengthens families and relationships in a special way, and this family prays together every day. Forgiveness is a necessity if you want a marriage to work. Also, an attitude of getting back up after you fall, dust yourself off and keep moving forward. When you work things out you’ll be wiser than before. Your relationship will grow even stronger because of working through problems, you’ll have more respect and a better understanding of each other. God Blesses those who love Him and keep his commands and this couple has definitely done that. We wish them continued health, happiness, and a Happy Anniversary!
